GAO Releases Report on States & Stimulus: One Year Later

The Gov't Accountability Office released a new report on states' use of stimulus funds, one year after the passage of the Recovery Act. This is the fifth in a series of reports on 16 selected states. Also, a group of Democratic senators asked the Treasury Dept. to suspend a clean-energy grant program in the stimulus law that has paid out more than $1 billion to foreign manufacturers.
