This Saturday on America & the Courts, former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor & former New York Times Supreme Court Reporter Linda Greenhouse talk about covering the Court at an event hosted by the Newseum's First Amendment Center.

Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Diane Wood has been mentioned as a possible Supreme Court nominee of President-elect Barack Obama. Last month, she spoke at the American Enterprise Institute about European and U.S. citizenship. Judge Wood worked alongside Obama on the faculty at the University of Chicago Law School.

On November 4th, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on the Federal Communications Commission's policy of fining broadcasters for isolated television broadcasts of curse words. It's the first time in 30 years the Supreme Court will hear a broadcast indecency case. We will give a preview of the case and its legal impact.

First, from May 18th, Justice Stephen Breyer speaks at American University's Washington College of Law. Then, Justice Samuel Alito spoke at Catholic University Law School on May 23rd. Finally, Justice Clarence Thomas was at the University of Georgia from May 10th.
